Passport to Dining

Enjoy “A Culinary Journey in North Tahoe” showcasing a delicious and fun evening of unlimited tastings to excite the palate, featuring ~25 tasting stations including restaurants, caterers, breweries, and wineries. While enjoying tastings, attendees may purchase raffle tickets and bid on a list of extensive silent auction items which will include valuable items and packages. Come and enjoy a night celebrating the culinary talents and gifts of our North Tahoe community.   

Proceeds from the auction and raffle portion of the event will benefit the Tahoe Waterman Foundation, a local non-profit based in Carnelian Bay, who are dedicated to helping people facing life-changing injuries and mental and physical health challenges experience the healing power of water through paddle sports. The Tahoe Waterman Foundation provides resources and programs for personal growth and recovery through simple but powerful paddle sports experiences and both time on and time in Lake Tahoe’s pure blue water.

Passport to Dining is presented by the Kings Beach District, supported by North Tahoe Chamber and LOVE North Tahoe, and sponsored by the North Tahoe Public Utility District.

Tickets are for guests ages 21 and over and require a valid ID at check-in.

The first 50 ticket holders will receive a $25 Love North Tahoe eGift Card which can be redeemed at our 2026 Passport to Dining participating tasting stations including restaurants, caterers, breweries, and wineries. Gift cards will be distributed the week after the event.

Crossing paths for the first time at a music festival in the Northern California hills, Jenni (fiddle/vocals) and Jesse Dunn (acoustic guitar/vocals) set off on a musical journey that has spanned well over a decade. Intertwining elements of folk, classic country, bluegrass and rock, the duo performs diverse sets that are both engaging and endearing. Their songwriting and vocal harmonies bend the ear and settle within the soul. Together, Jenni and Jesse spawned North Lake Tahoe based 6-piece americana rockers Dead Winter Carpenters who continue to record and tour nationally today.
