Our featured speaker will be Heather Segale of the Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC), who will share insights into TERC’s science education initiatives and how its education centers and outreach programs advance environmental literacy in our region. Heather provides intellectual and administrative leadership for TERC’s education and outreach mission. She manages the Tahoe Science Center in Incline Village and the Eriksson Education Center in Tahoe City, oversees exhibit development and education programming, pursues and administers grant funding, and coordinates regional outreach and marketing efforts for both centers.
The club will be hosting a family-style lunch for all attendees.
