A small-group, immersive winter experience hosted by the SNOW Sports Museum in partnership with Sugar Bowl Resort. Designed for those who love this mountain and its legacy, the event offers a memorable morning and afternoon exploring historic terrain, early California ski culture, and the stories that shaped skiing on Donner Summit.
The day begins with a welcome gathering featuring coffee and pastries, followed by a guided on-mountain history tour led by SNOW Sports Museum historians and Sugar Bowl staff. Guests may also choose to remain in the lodge to view historic photos, artifacts, and share memories. The experience concludes with lunch and a multimedia ski history presentation featuring rare images, archival footage, and stories from the Museum’s collection. Proceeds support the SNOW Sports Museum’s mission to preserve and share Tahoe’s winter sports heritage.
