Tahoe City Haunted Historic Walking Tours

Join the Haunted Historic Walking Tours and discover the ghostly legends, mysterious hauntings and colorful characters hiding in Tahoe City’s past.

Designed for ages 12+, the tours wind through downtown Tahoe City, bringing local history and lore to life with tales of old morgues, mysterious happenings and some of Tahoe’s most eccentric characters.

Led by Karen Willcuts of Mountain Town Walking Tours, the tours offer a spirited look into Tahoe City’s haunted history.

Due to limited tour capacity, a $5 donation is required with advance registration to reserve your spot. Walk-ins will be accepted based on available tour capacity. All donations help support TCDA’s community programs and events and are non-refundable.

Tours begin outside Sierra Surf Club, housed in the historic Tahoe Inn, built in 1934.
