Roll up your sleeves and be part of a beloved Tahoe XC tradition! Our annual Lodge Clean-Up & Trail Work Day has grown into more than just a single work day — they are feel-good gatherings where neighbors, families, and friends come together to give back, connect, and prepare our trails and lodge. Every trail work day will be different, whether we are raking up pine needles and cones, clearing fallen limbs, moving rocks, or simply identifying needs.
Trail stewardship isn’t just about loving the trails; it’s about staying connected to the land through regular walks, identifying what needs attention, and taking action to keep our trails safe and beautiful. Together, we will head out to ensure the trails are in the best condition for everyone who hikes, bikes, runs, walks, or skis through them.
Whether you’re looking to log community service hours, build team spirit, or simply want to enjoy a day of purposeful fun in the great outdoors, this is your chance to be part of something meaningful. All ages and ability levels are welcome — just bring your work gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants, long shirt, and sun protection. If you are not properly dressed for trail work days, you may be asked to leave and return once you are. Safety is our number one priority.
Expect fresh air, hands-on work, and heartwarming camaraderie — because when we care for the land together, we grow stronger as a community
