TRPA Governing Board Meeting

The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency’s (TRPA) mission is to lead a cooperative effort to preserve, restore, and enhance the unique natural and human environment of the Lake Tahoe region. This includes protecting Lake Tahoe’s water quality and clarity, improving regional transportation, and fostering diverse housing options while facilitating community revitalization.

TRPA receives direction on decisions from a 15-member Governing Board and a 21-member Advisory Planning Commission, as well as many stakeholders and members of the public. The Governing Board has created several committees of its own members to advise the full board on specific operational areas.
