Through live music and community connection\, Tahoe Joy Festival raises awareness and funds for local nonprofits and celebrates the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe. \nThe Tahoe Joy Festival\, now in its fourth year\, was founded by Matt Axton as a tribute to his father\, entertainment icon and Tahoe City resident Hoyt Axton\, whose most famous hit “Joy to the World” (“Jeremiah was a bullfrog”) inspired the festival’s spirit.
