SUMMARY:Kiwanis March Luncheon featuring Heather Segale of TERC
DESCRIPTION:Our featured speaker will be Heather Segale of the Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC)\, who will share insights into TERC’s science education initiatives and how its education centers and outreach programs advance environmental literacy in our region. Heather provides intellectual and administrative leadership for TERC’s education and outreach mission. She manages the Tahoe Science Center in Incline Village and the Eriksson Education Center in Tahoe City\, oversees exhibit development and education programming\, pursues and administers grant funding\, and coordinates regional outreach and marketing efforts for both centers. \nThe club will be hosting a family-style lunch for all attendees.

SUMMARY:33rd Annual Kiwanis Club Wine Tasting & Benefit Auction
DESCRIPTION:We’re so excited to bring the 33rd Annual Kiwanis Club Wine Tasting & Benefit Auction to our community and can not wait to celebrate with you on May 4th.  Tickets are $65 in advance. \nThis year we are excited to be featuring the following renown wineries: Chateau Potelle\, Larson Family Winery\, Rodney Strong\, Romeo Vineyards & Cellars\, Schug\, Truchard\, and ZD.  Back by popular demand\, for the non-wine lovers out there\, we will also feature beer tasting from local brewers\, Alibi Ale Works!  A special thank you to Sunnyside Resort and Restaurant who will be hosting the event and treating us to culinary delights.  Similar to last year\, the online auction will close at the event and many items will be on display during the event and available for immediate pick-up once the auction closes.  This is our club’s primary fundraiser and allows us to continue supporting our North Lake Tahoe/Truckee community.  We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you there!
