Run through one of Lake Tahoe’s most iconic landscapes as the Emerald Bay Trail Run guides you along jewel-toned waters, granite cliffs, and legendary singletrack.
The Emerald Bay Trail Run begins at Eagle Point and winds its way around the jewel-toned waters of Emerald Bay before climbing the legendary Rubicon Trail to D.L. Bliss State Park, finishing at Lester Beach. This approximately 7-mile (11 km) point-to-point course is primarily singletrack, featuring moderate climbs and descents, technical sections with natural granite steps, and nonstop, jaw-dropping views of Lake Tahoe.
Emerald Bay State Park is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the United States and is designated a Registered Natural Landmark. Shaped by ancient glaciers, the park offers unmatched scenery for hiking and trail running across its 1,830 pristine acres in the Sierra Nevada.
Along the way, you’ll pass rugged cliffs, six miles of rocky and sandy shoreline, and forests of ponderosa and Jeffrey pine, red and white fir, cedar, juniper, cottonwood, and wind-sculpted sugar pines. From viewpoints like Rubicon Point in D.L. Bliss State Park, you can peer more
